Paola Neri, MD, PhD, University of Calgary, Calgary, Canada, discusses how surface antigen expression and genomic alterations could guide the sequencing of T-cell engagers in multiple myeloma. She highlights the importance of assessing BCMA and GPRC5D expression, as well as potential target mutations, particularly when considering another BCMA-directed therapy after progression, to determine whether to retain the target or switch to an alternative antigen. This interview took place at the 14th Annual Meeting of the Society of Hematologic Oncology (SOHO 2026) in Houston, TX.
