ASCO 2026 | Practical advice for physicians managing the adverse events of loncastuximab tesirine in R/R DLBCL

Enrico Derenzini, MD, PhD, Instituto Europeo Di Oncologia SRL, Milano, Italy, discusses the common adverse events associated with loncastuximab tesirine in relapsed/refractory diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (R/R DLBCL), including edema and effusions, phototoxicity, and elevated GGT liver enzyme. Dr Derenzini provides practical advice for managing these side effects, such as using steroid premedication and diuretics to prevent edema, avoiding sun exposure to prevent phototoxicity, and monitoring liver enzymes to exclude other causes of elevation. This interview took place during the 2026 American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Meeting in Chicago, IL.
