Marta Sobas, MD, PhD, Wroclaw Medical University, Wroclaw, Poland, shares insights into managing patients with myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPNs) who develop interferon resistance, highlighting that molecular responses can take time and treatment should not be stopped prematurely. Dr Sobas also outlines the potential benefit of combination approaches, such as with JAK inhibitors, and emphasizes the influence of drug interactions on treatment response. This interview took place at the ESH 11th Translational Research Conference on Myeloproliferative Neoplasms (ESH MPN 2026) in Estoril, Portugal.
