The European Society for Blood and Marrow Transplantation (EBMT) have recently set up their dedicated EBMT Patient Advisory and Advocacy Committee, to encourage and support patient and advocate involvement in stem cell transplantation. Here, Anita Waldmann from the Leukaemia Patient-Support Group RHEIN-MAIN, Rüsselsheim am Main, Germany, talks about the Committee’s recent success and future aims.
