ASH 2020 | Future directions for multiple myeloma treatment

Thomas Martin, MD, UCSF Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center, San Francisco, CA, gives an overview of the evolving treatment paradigm for multiple myeloma patients. Dr Martin discusses the potential development of a cure for myeloma in the future, highlighting emerging results from studies investigating CAR T-cell therapies for patients with relapsed/refractory myeloma, and the possible impact of bringing these into a frontline setting.
