iwCLL 2023 | Comorbidity and geriatric assessment tools in routine practice for CLL patients

In this video, Kerry Rogers, MD, The Ohio State University, Columbus, OH, discusses the importance of geriatric assessment tools in understanding the health status of older patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) in order to assess how this may impact side effects and disease outcomes during treatment. Dr Rogers acknowledges that many of these assessment tools are not feasible in routine practice at present and this must be addressed to improve outcomes of elderly patients. This interview was recorded at the biennial International Workshop on Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (iwCLL) 2023 meeting, held in Boston, MA.
