Patrizia Mondello, MD, PhD, Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN, discusses a study using multi-omic analyses to characterize molecular clusters of IgM monoclonal gammopathy of undetermined significance (MGUS) and Waldenström’s macroglobulinemia (WM). Distinct biological characteristics were identified, including differences in cell proliferation, inflammation, and epigenetic control. This interview took place at the 12th International Workshop on Waldenström’s Macroglobulinemia (IWWM-12) in Prague, Czech Republic.
