EHA 2017 | How can we assess quality of life in AML patients?

Francesco Lo-Coco, MD from University Tor Vergata Rome, Rome, Italy discusses the importance of measuring quality of life in patients with acute myeloid leukemia (AML). He talks about the need to have a standardised method for assessing patient quality of life through self-assessment rather than physician assessment. Disease eradication may not be possible in some patients which puts greater emphasis on maintaining quality of life. This interview was recorded at the European Hematological Association (EHA) 2017 in Madrid, Spain.
