ERIC 2018 | The role of NOTCH signaling in CLL pathogenesis

The NOTCH signaling pathway is highly conserved and regulates a multitude of pathway, including cell differentiation processes during embryonic development and adult life. Speaking from the European Research Initiative on Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (ERIC) International Meeting 2018, held in Barcelona, Spain, Silvia Deaglio, MD, PhD, of the University of Turin, Turin, Italy, discusses her group’s research into the role of this pathway in CLL. Dr Deaglio covers the regulatory effects of this pathway on the tumor supressor DUSP22, as well as interplay with the BCR signaling pathway.
