Laura Dillon, PhD, FACMG, National Institutes of Health, Bethesda, MD, discusses the pre-MEASURE study, which is assessing the use of next generation sequencing (NGS) to detect measurable residual disease (MRD) in patients with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) receiving a stem cell transplant (SCT). Dr Dillon comments on the impact of NPM1 and FLT3-ITD mutations on patient outcomes.
