Simon Fletcher, MA, BA (Hons), Dip N, RGN , Haemnet / Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Oxford, UK, discusses the results of the Exigency study (NCT04723680), which investigated the impact of gene therapy on the lives and families of patients with hemophilia. In this interview, Mr Fletcher focuses on the challenges experienced by patients taking steroids, which are often required alongside gene therapy. This interview took place at the 31st Congress of the International Society on Thrombosis and Haemostasis (ISTH), held in Montréal, Canada.
