ICML 2023 | Comparing various prognostic scores used to predict outcomes in elderly patients with DLBCL

In this video, Fernando Martin-Moro, MD, Ramón y Cajal University Hospital, Madrid, Spain, discusses the results of a retrospective analysis which compared various prognostic scores used to predict outcomes in elderly patients with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) treated with R-CHOP or R-mini-CHOP. Four prognostic scores were compared in this study: aaIPI, LAB-PI, NCCN-IPI and GELTAMO-IPI, and Dr Martin-Moro explains that while all of these scores are useful in predicting patient outcomes, the LAB-PI appears to be the best tool. This interview took place at the 17th International Conference on Malignant Lymphoma (ICML), held in Lugano, Switzerland.
