Patrizia Mondello, MD, PhD, Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN, shares some findings from a study which used next-generation sequencing (NGS) techniques and a multi-omics approach to evaluate various clusters of IgM monoclonal gammopathies. Dr Mondello highlights three distinct molecular clusters that were identified, and the implications of these findings in the treatment of Waldenström’s macroglobulinemia (WM). This interview took place at the 11th International Workshop on Waldenström’s Macroglobulinemia (IWWM-11), held in Madrid, Spain.
