Arnon Nagler, MD, Chaim Sheba Medical Center, Tel-Aviv, Israel, discusses factors that should be considered for patients undergoing haploidentical stem cell transplantation (haplo-SCT). He highlights how donor selection criteria vary depending on whether anti-thymocyte globulin (ATG) or post-transplantation cyclophosphamide (PTCy) is utilized for immunosuppression. Additionally, Prof. Nagler compares bone marrow (BM) and peripheral blood (PB) as stem cell sources. This interview took place at the 50th Annual Meeting of the EBMT in Glasgow, Scotland.
