ICML 2023 | Using spatial transcriptomics to define clinically relevant subsets of macrophages in DLBCL

Anand Jeyasekharan, MD, National University of Singapore, Singapore, discusses a study in which spatial transcriptomics was used to identify clinically relevant macrophage populations in reactive lymphoid tissues and malignant lymphoid tissues. In this study, unique gene expression patterns were identified and compared with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) datasets, and were able to predict patient response to R-CHOP-based therapy. This interview took place at the 17th International Conference on Malignant Lymphoma (ICML), held in Lugano, Switzerland.
