EORTC CLTF 2018 | ECP experience in Canada: prospects and challenges

Extracorporeal photopheresis (ECP) is known to be beneficial for the treatment of cutaneous T-cell lymphoma; however, there are challenges to it’s use, as discussed here by Robert Gniadecki, MD, PhD, of the University of Alberta, Edmonton, Canada, at the European Organisation for the Research and Treatment of Cancer (EORTC) Cutaneous Lymphoma Task Force (CLTF) 2018 Congress, held in St. Gallen, Switzerland. Dr Gniadecki compares ECP to other current therapies and presents the issues of access to this therapy in Canada.
