ICML 2021 | Clinical features and outcomes in patients with EFL

Annarita Conconi, MD, Ospedale degli Infermi, Biella, Italy, discusses the findings from IELSG30, a retrospective, multicenter survey of patients with primary extranodal follicular lymphoma (EFL) which aimed to define clinical features and outcomes in patients. The study included patients from 19 different countries and the most common types of EFL found were cutaneous and gastrointestinal lymphomas, with gastrointestinal lymphomas primarily located in the duodenum. Patients with cutaneous lymphomas had the best overall survival and patients with gastrointestinal lymphomas had intermediate outcomes compared to cutaneous lymphomas. This interview took place during the 2021 International Conference on Malignant Lymphoma (16-ICML).
