In this video, Melanie Daniel, MD, Lille Hospital University, Lille, France, discusses an analysis evaluating response to desmopressin in patients with type 2N Von Willebrand disease (VWD). Dr Daniel explains that some patients respond poorly to the treatment, and that response was somewhat associated with a patient’s genotype and their factor VIII (FVIII) levels at baseline. This interview took place at the 31st Congress of the International Society on Thrombosis and Haemostasis (ISTH), held in Montréal, Canada.
