ERIC 2022 | Geriatric assessment techniques in CLL
Lukas Smolej, MD, PhD, Charles University, Hradec Králové, Czech Republic, discusses the challenges associated with performing a frailty assessment in patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), explaining that a comorbidity assessment might be more appropriate for this particular disease. Prof. Smolej further describes other geriatric assessments; however, these are not validated for CLL. This interview took place at the 2022 European Research Initiative on CLL (ERIC) Meeting.
