Paolo Ghia, MD, Università Vita-Salute San Raffaele, Milan, Italy, talks on using a holistic approach to the treatment and management of chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), highlighting the impacts of novel therapies on the treatment landscape and the importance of improving the quality of life of patients with CLL. Dr Ghia describes how many factors need to be considered in the management of patients with CLL, including practical considerations, comorbidities and genetic factors which may impact outcomes to therapy.
