Lee Greenberger, PhD, Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, New York, NY, discusses the importance of monitoring COVID-19 in patients with Waldenström’s macroglobulinemia (WM), and highlights various methods that may be used. Dr Greenberger also shares some insights into a survey which investigated breakthrough infections in patients after vaccination or administration of Evusheld, and highlights the significance of monitoring breakthrough infections in patients with hematological malignancies. This interview took place at the 11th International Workshop on Waldenström’s Macroglobulinemia (IWWM-11), held in Madrid, Spain.
