ASH 2022 | Delivering genomic testing results to patients with CLL

Kerry Rogers, MD, The Ohio State University, Columbus, OH, comments on genomic testing in chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), explaining how to communicate results to patients. Dr Rogers notes that it is important to explain that genetic changes occur in leukemic cells and that new changes may be acquired over the course of the disease. In addition, Dr Rogers explains the value
of discussing the implications of different genetic changes on treatment decisions. This interview took place at the 64th ASH Annual Meeting and Exposition congress in New Orleans, LA.
