EHA 2017 | How can we monitor a patient’s quality of life?

Paolo Ghia, MD, PhD, from the San Raffaele Scientific Institute, Milano, Italy talks to us about the future advancements in assessing the quality of life of patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) and cancer in general. As described by Prof. Ghia, a number of initiatives run by patient organisations are taking place, such as the development of mobile apps that would allow patients to record their changes in health during or post-treatment, which would then provide physicians with a good perspective on alterations in patients’ quality of life. This interview was filmed at the European Hematology Association (EHA) 2017 Annual Congress in Madrid, Spain.
