BSH 2023 | Evaluating the correlation between sleep and QoL in patients with sickle cell disease

Sanne Lugthart, MD, PhD, University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust, Bristol, UK, shares some insights into a real-world study which evaluated whether there is a correlation between sleep and quality of life (QoL) in patients with sickle cell disease (SCD). This study also demonstrated a correlation between hemoglobin levels and pain scores. This interview took place at the 63rd Annual Scientific Meeting of the British Society for Haematology (BSH) 2023, held in Birmingham, UK.
