Regarding this meeting this year of the EBMT, I think that the most important issue is that this meeting is dedicated to one of our esteemed colleagues, that is, Riccardo Saccardi. He was really one of the pioneers in the field of transplantation for autoimmune diseases and also one of the leaders in the field of benchmarking and standardization of transplantation and graft across different countries in Europe but also outside.

So we think that with that kind of meeting, the main pillar that we would like to reach is to be multidisciplinary, because we think that nowadays the field of transplantation and cellular therapy more and more needs to have multi-specialty cooperation. Also to involve more young physicians and basic science as compared to the previous years. So we will have together with the clinical part and clinical trials coming from the community with good new results, also, we will have some interesting basic science presentations, and also young investigators will have the possibility to join from the beginning with good results and to share their knowledge and make networking. So I think these are three main aspects that as compared to the past, we would like to promote this year to be up to date with the new times that are coming.
