Lee Greenberger, PhD, Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, New York, NY, highlights the aims and projects of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, which aims to obtain cures for hematological malignancies and improve patients’ access to therapeutic agents. Following this, Dr Greenberger describes current challenges with preserving antibody responses against COVID-19 in patients with Waldenström’s macroglobulinemia (WM) treated with Bruton’s tyrosine kinase (BTK) inhibitors and antibodies. This interview took place at the 11th International Workshop on Waldenström’s Macroglobulinemia (IWWM-11), held in Madrid, Spain.
