Acute leukemias are genetically heterogeneous, making their targeted therapy more complex. We spoke to Tariq Mughal, MD, MB, BS, MRCS, MRCP, FRCP, of Tufts University School of Medicine, Boston, MA, about our understanding of the genetic complexity of acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). This interview took place at the International Symposium on Acute Leukemias (ISAL) 2019, held in Munich, Germany.
