ISAL 2019 | Acute leukemias: the doubled-edged sword of genetic complexity

Acute leukemias are genetically heterogeneous, making their targeted therapy more complex. We spoke to Tariq Mughal, MD, MB, BS, MRCS, MRCP, FRCP, of Tufts University School of Medicine, Boston, MA, about our understanding of the genetic complexity of acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL).
