ICML 2023 | Bone marrow infiltration in newly diagnosed DLBCL with primary/secondary CNSL

Central nervous system (CNS) involvement in diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) can be primary or secondary. Fernando Martin-Moro, MD, Ramón y Cajal University Hospital, Madrid, Spain, describes a comparison study of patients with newly diagnosed DLBCL with primary CNS lymphoma, secondary CNS lymphoma, or no CNS involvement. Dr Martin-Moro shares the findings of this comparison, highlighting that bone marrow infiltration did not occur in patients with DLBCL with primary CNS involvement, indicating that bone marrow assessment may be omitted for these patients. This interview took place at the 17th International Conference on Malignant Lymphoma (ICML), held in Lugano, Switzerland.
