Tanya Siddiqi, MD, City of Hope, Duarte, CA, discusses strategies to improve CAR-T efficacy in chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), with the goal of achieving more complete remissions (CR). There are ongoing investigations into combining CAR-Ts with BTK inhibitors, such as lisocabtagene maraleucel (liso-cel) plus ibrutinib in the TRANSCEND trial (NCT03331198). This interview took place at the 29th Congress of the European Hematology Association (EHA) in Madrid, Spain.
