ERIC 2024 | Key considerations when referring a patient with CLL

Nitin Jain, MD, University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, TX, discusses the referral process for patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL). He recommends referring all patients with CLL, particularly those who have failed one or two lines of therapy, to centers of excellence. These centers provide access to newer treatments, such as CAR T-cell therapy, by enrolling patients in clinical trials. This interview took place at the 2024 European Research Initiative on CLL (ERIC) Meeting in Barcelona, Spain.
