Yucai Wang, MD, PhD, Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN, discusses a study evaluating survival outcomes in patients with mantle cell lymphoma (MCL), noting that women tend to have a better overall survival rate compared to men, even after adjusting for other factors. Additionally, the study found that black patients and Hispanic patients do not appear to have a worse prognosis compared to white patients and non-Hispanic patients in terms of survival outcomes. This interview took place at the 66th ASH Annual Meeting and Exposition, held in San Diego, CA.
