Tara Graff
Academic History
Tara Graff, DO, is a hematologist and oncologist at Mission Cancer and Blood, Des Moines, IA, where she is director of clinical research and lead for the Mission Cancer and Blood Clinical Trials Program. She is board certified in internal medicine and medical oncology.
Dr Graff obtained her master’s degree in immunology from Loyola University, Chicago, IL and earned her DO from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, Bradenton, FL. She subsequently completed her residency in internal medicine and fellowship in hematology and oncology at the Medical College of Wisconsin at Froedtert Memorial Lutheran Hospital, Milwaukee, WI.
Dr Graff is actively involved in several research groups, including the National Lymphoma Advisory Boards, NHL Advisory Council, LBCL Steering Committee, and CIBMTR Lymphoma Working Committee, as well as the BMS National CAR-T Cell Advisory Board for multiple myeloma and lymphoma and the ECOG Clinical Trial Organization. She also works with the Lymphoma Research Foundation and partners with Blood Cancer United.
Speaking on CLL, NHL, and cellular therapy in the community oncology setting
Dr Graff specializes in chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) and non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) and is recognized for her pioneering development of protocols for outpatient administration of bispecific T-cell engagers and CAR T-cell therapies, which continue to improve access to these novel treatments. She also leads a community-based clinical trial program to bring cutting-edge therapies to underserved patients locally.
