Paolo Milani, MD, PhD, is a consultant at the Pavia Amyloidosis Research and Treatment Center at the Foundation I.R.C.C.S. Policlinico San Matteo, Pavia, Italy, the national referral center for patients with amyloidosis in Italy. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the International Society of Amyloidosis.
Speaking on novel treatments and ongoing trials for amyloidosis
Dr Milani’s research is focused on amyloidosis. He works on all ongoing trials at the Pavia Amyloidosis Research and Treatment Center with the goal of finding new treatment regimens for these diseases. Additionally, he conducts more laboratory-based projects which investigate the application of mass spectrometry in the evaluation of monoclonal proteins.
