Academic History
Manali Kamdar, MD, obtained her medical degree from KJ Somaiya Medical College, Mumbai, India, before undergoing a residency program in Internal Medicine and a Hematology and Oncology Fellowship at East Carolina University, Greenville, NC. Dr Kamdar subsequently completed an additional Fellowship in Blood and Marrow Transplantation at Stanford University, Stanford, CA. At present, she is the Clinical Director of Lymphoma Services at the University of Colorado Cancer Center, Aurora, CO.
Speaking on novel therapies for the treatment of patients with non-Hodgkin lymphoma
Dr Kamdar’s research and clinical practice focus on the treatment of patients with lymphoma. She is involved in numerous clinical trials assessing the safety and efficacy of novel agents and therapeutic approaches in patients, such as the TRANSFORM (NCT03575351) and TRANSCEND-NHL-001 (NCT02631044) trials investigating lisocabtagene maraleucel (liso-cel) in relapsed/refractory (R/R) lymphomas.
