Kate Cwynarski, PhD, FRCP, FRCPath, trained at King’s College, Hammersmith Hospital, and Royal Free Hospital, London, UK, and obtained a PhD in Immunology from Imperial College, London, UK. Dr Cwynarski is a hematologist-oncologist at University College London Hospital, London, UK, as well as an Honorary Associate Professor at UCL, London, UK. Dr Cwynarski leads the UK T-cell Lymphoma Group and, in the past, led the UK CNS Lymphoma (CNSL) Group and the British Society for Haematology (BSH) Lymphoma Specialist Interest Group. 

Speaking on the treatment of T-cell and CNS lymphoma

Dr Cwynarski specializes in lymphoma and chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), with subspecialties including central nervous system (CNS) lymphoma, T-cell lymphoma, HIV-related lymphoma, high-grade B-cell lymphoma, and post-transplant lymphoproliferative disorder (PTLD). She is involved in numerous clinical trials, including those investigating CAR T-cell therapy for the treatment of refractory diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) and T-cell lymphoma.
