Jonathan Kaufman, MD, obtained his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia, Augusta, GA, and then completed his internship, residency, and fellowship training at the Emory University School of Medicine, Atlanta, GA, where he is now a Professor in the Department of Hematology and Medical Oncology. 

Speaking on the treatment of patients with multiple myeloma

Alongside treating patients with multiple myeloma and amyloidosis at Emory University Hospital, Dr Kaufman is an active clinical and translational researcher with a focus on developing optimal treatment regimens and novel therapeutics for patients with plasma cell malignancies. He is involved in research and clinical trials in the fields of myeloma, amyloidosis, and bone marrow transplantation, and is a member of the Discovery and Developmental Therapeutics Research Program at Winship Cancer Institute.
