Biography

John Kuruvilla, MD, FRCPC, is a Professor of Medicine at the University of Toronto, Toronto, Canada and a hematologist in the Division of Medical Oncology and Hematology at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre (PM), Toronto, Canada. He is a member of the Lymphoma, Autologous Transplant and Immune Effector Cell Therapy programs. Dr Kuruvilla is also the co-director of the High Definition Therapeutics Strategic Pillar for PM.

Speaking on clinical trial updates and the evolving treatment landscape in lymphoma

Dr Kuruvilla’s research focuses on the development of novel therapeutics for treating lymphoid malignancies, and his interests lie in incorporating translational research into clinical trials. Dr Kuruvilla is involved as an investigator in a number of trials and holds the positions of Lymphoma co-chair for the Canadian Cancer Trials Group (CCTG) and the chair of the Scientific Advisory Board of Lymphoma Canada.
