Jakub Svoboda

Jakub Svoboda, MD, is an Associate Professor of Medicine (specifically Hematology-Oncology) at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA. Dr Svoboda obtained his medical degree from Yale University, New Haven, CT, before completing his residency and fellowship training at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
Speaking on novel immunotherapies for the treatment of lymphoma
Dr Svoboda’s areas of expertise include Hodgkin and non-Hodgkin lymphomas. He has served as the principal investigator or co-investigator on a number of clinical trials investigating novel immunotherapies, including antibodies and CAR T-cell therapy, for the treatment of patients with these malignancies. Dr Svoboda is also involved in collaborative work with translational scientists at the Abramson Cancer Center, Philadelphia, PA, which aims to elucidate novel therapeutic targets for cellular therapies in Hodgkin lymphoma.
