Chan Yoon Cheah, MBBS, is a Consultant Hematologist at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, Pathwest Laboratory Medicine WA, Linear Clinical Research and Hollywood Private Hospital, and a Professor at the University of Western Australia (UWA), Perth, Australia.
Prof. Cheah obtained his MBBS from UWA, followed by post-graduate training in Clinical and Laboratory Hematology at the Fremantle Hospital, Perth, Australia. He completed Fellowships at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, Melbourne, Australia, and MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, TX.
He is the Founder of Blood Cancer Research WA and is the lymphoma lead and Fellowship Program Director at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital. His research focuses on developing new drug therapies and preventing central nervous system (CNS) relapse in lymphomas.

Prof. Cheah focuses on novel treatment approaches for B-cell malignancies, specifically non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) and chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL). He discusses BTK inhibitors and degraders and novel immunotherapeutic approaches.
