Academic history

Alberto Rocci , MD, PhD, received his medical degree from the University of Turin, Turin, Italy, followed by his PhD. He subsequently worked as Post-doctoral Fellow at the Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio, before joining the NHS in 2013. Dr Rocci is part of the UK Myelomas Research Alliance and has participated in several national and international meetings to present data on multiple myeloma.

Speaking on multiple myeloma, amyloidosis, and non-coding RNA

Dr Rocci’s main research interest is discovering novel multiple myeloma treatments through clinical and translational research, with particular emphasis on discovering potential biomarkers for multiple myeloma, as well as understanding the role of genetics. He is actively involved in Phase I, II, and III clinical trials.
