In this video, Jaiveer Singh, MS, Yale University School of Medicine, New Haven, CT, discusses the association between clonal hematopoiesis of indeterminate potential (CHIP) and diastolic dysfunction in patients with cancer. He highlights findings from a cardio-oncology cohort showing that CHIP was an independent risk factor for diastolic dysfunction, suggesting this may be due to its pro-inflammatory effects. This interview took place during the 2026 European Society of Cardiology (ESC) Congress in Munich, Germany.
