Paolo Ghia, MD, PhD, from the San Raffaele Scientific Institute, Milano, Italy gives us an overview of the large complex data project, HARMONY, and its work on chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL). He notes that there are studies exploring the prognostic value of biomarkers in CLL and current research is focused on exploring the association of novel gene mutations, discovered via next-generation sequencing, with CLL. This interview was filmed at the European Hematology Association (EHA) 2017 Annual Congress in Madrid, Spain.
