Stephan Stilgenbauer is Associate Professor and Attending Physician at the Department of Internal Medicine III at Ulm University, Ulm, Germany.

Prof. Stilgenbauer received his medical degree from Ruprecht-Karls Universität Heidelberg Medical School, Heidelberg, Germany, and completed his final year at the MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, TX.

Prof. Stilgenbauer’s research interests are focused on the molecular aspects of pathogenesis and development of novel therapies for
chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) and lymphoma. Prof. Stilgenbauer is an accomplished author, having publications in prestigious journals including the Lancet, Nature and Blood.

He is a member of several societies, including the German Society of Hematology and Medical Oncology, the European Hematology Association (EHA) and the American Society of Hematology.
