Freda Stevenson, MSc, PhD, FRCPath, FMedSci, is a Professor at the University of Southampton.
Prof. Stevenson received a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from the University of Manchester, Manchester, UK, in 1960. She then continued her studies in Manchester and completed a master’s degree in biochemistry in 1961. Prof. Stevenson then moved to the University of Oxford, Oxford, UK, to complete a PhD in biochemistry by 1964.
Speaking on B-cell malignancies and novel therapies
Prof. Stevenson’s research interests are focused on B-cell malignancies and the effects of novel therapies. Specifically, her research group has investigated DNA fusion vaccines against cancers and the defining immunogenetics of B-cell malignancies.
